Using a kitchen scrub brush, scrub potatoes under cold water to clean.
In a large saucepan boil 4 cups of water. Once boiling add potatoes and cook until you are able to easily insert a knife into a potato - about 10 minutes.
Drain potatoes. In a bbq safe pan add potatoes, toss with olive oil, sprinkle with S&P. Grill with lid closed for approximately 5 minutes. Top with shaved parmigiano reggiano and serve.
Note - If you do not have a grill you can roast the potatoes in the oven at 450 degrees instead of grilling.
