Heat a grilled pan or bbq over medium-high heat. Brush both sides of pita with 1 tsp olive oil. Grill for approx. 3 minutes per side until toasted and grill marks appear. Set aside to cool. Cut into strips once cooled.
In a large bowl add chopped tomatoes, red onions, kalamata olives, cucumber, feta cheese, mint, grilled pita and avocado.
In a small bowl whisk together olive oil and red wine vinegar.
Drizzle over salad and toss to coat. Season with S&P to taste.
