Cilantro Jalapeño Hummus

Ingredients
  • 1 15oz can garbanzo beans + 3 Tbsp reserved liquid from can
  • ¼ C tahini
  • ¼ C fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 C packed cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
  • 3 Tbsp good quality olive oil
  • kosher salt to taste - about 1 tsp
Instructions
  1. In a food processor add garbanzo beans, reserved liquid, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cilantro and jalapeno and pulse until smooth. With the mixer running slowly drizzle in the olive oil. Season with kosher salt to taste. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with your favorite veggies or pita.
