Salmon Poke

Ingredients
  • 1 lb sushi grade salmon
  • 3 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp thinly sliced green onions, green tops only
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1½ tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 avocado, cubed
  • 1 package wonton wrappers - cooked in mini muffin tins to form shell as per package instructions
*optional - ½ jalapeno sliced thin- only if you prefer spicy
chopped chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions
  1. Slice salmon into ½ inch cubes. Add salmon and all remaining ingredients together except for avocado. Store in the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving. Mix in chopped avocado before serving.
  2. Good Thyme Tip - There are a lot of ways to serve the salmon poke. As an appetizer in wonton cups, in a bowl with Taro chips, in a sushi roll with rice...just to name a few!
